Our history

The Old Patesians Rugby Club was formed in 1913.

At the start of the 1925/26 season, the Gloucester Echo commented that: “Followers of the Old Patesians will be provided with the best football, played in the right spirit… The Old Patesians play the game for the game’s sake and the pleasure derived is shared by players and spectators alike.”

This is still at the heart of Old Pats’ today, and is the driving force behind the club’s success on and off the pitch.
